Welcoming the new year in a different style. Hello 2021! This time it's a bit unusual. Instead of spending the holidays in Ilocos Sur with our extended family, we celebrated Christmas and New Year in the city. What a change it was! We missed waking up to the crowing of the rooster, feeling the cold December breeze, hearing the waves of the sea, the warm welcome and hospitality of family and friends, and of course, the food that's authentic Ilocano. This time we celebrated through video calls and sharing of pictures online but nonetheless, we still feel the same spirit and love that's usually on a higher level during the Christmas season.
